The State of Maine Umpire Clinic is a great place to learn the basics or brush up on rule changes and clarifications. We encourage parents, grandparents, coaches, managers and older players to attend (if under 16 you will need an adult to sponsor you and attend games that you umpire).
The 2014 Clinic is set for Saturday April 12 and Sunday April 13 at Windham Middle School. Advanced registration is just $20 ($25 at the door), and GNGLL will pay you back if you volunteer to umpire at least three games this season.
